Cartier Queen’s Cup 2014 Day 5
Both matches started with a minute’s silence in memory of the much loved player Javier Novillo Astrada who lost his battle against cancer yesterday. Javier, a playing member of Guards Polo Club, was no stranger to the Queen’s Cup – playing for Urs Schwarzenbach’’s Black Bears team among others – and he will be much missed by all who play and watch polo.
