Special Brunch This Sunday Features Polo Championship Final and After Party With Famed Performers “The Lords of 52nd Street Band”

The Lords of 52nd Street Band

The excitement is escalating every Sunday at IPC as the 2017 United States Open Polo Championship® approaches! Last Sunday featured the final of the 2017 USPA Gold Cup®, with undefeated Valiente taking home the title. This Sunday, April 2, Coca-Cola plays Flexjet in the Butler Handicap final in the featured match on Engel & Völkers field at 3 p.m.

Bring your dancing shoes and stay after the game for a special musical event this week, open to all without charge. Our lively after-party at The Pavilion on April 2 will feature live music by The Lords of 52nd Street Band – the original Billy Joel band that recorded and played on tours for such hit records as “The Stranger,” “Turnstiles,” “52nd Street” and ” Glass Houses.” A Billy Joel hits tribute performance begins at approximately 5:30 p.m., directly after the Butler Handicap awards ceremony.

Start off the day with Sunday Brunch at The Pavilion and watch the game while you dine. Experience brunch like a VIP in the Veuve Clicquot Pavilion with extravagant brunch options and champagne. Everything from eggs and waffles to prime rib and shrimp will be served. And don’t forget to stop by the delectable dessert table on your way out to the patio. Fieldside tables offer the best views of the polo match and perfect photo opportunities of the action.
