La Aguada launched lineup, ready to play the 2018 Triple Crown in Argentina
La Aguada presented the team lineup in an exclusive event for the press, that took place at La Aguada Polo Club, in Open Door, Argentina, on Thursday September 20, 2018.
The 33-goal foursome who will be playing the 2018 Triple Crown in Argentina is comprised by three Novillo Astrada brothers – Alejandro (8), Miguel (8) and Ignacio (9) Novillo Astrada, plus the talented Alfredo Bigatti (8), who had an outstanding debut with La Aguada in 2018, as a replacement for Eduardo Novillo Astrada h (8), who will remain within the team as the coach. La Aguada is set to make their debut at the Tortugas Open on Tuesday, September 25 against La Dolfina II.
In a fabulous and sunny spring afternoon, La Aguada greeted several guests, media and representatives of their sponsors at their home: KIA Argentina, Río Uruguay Seguros, New Balance, Ona Polo, LOGI Polo and Stella Artois.
KIA Argentina and New Balance will remain with La Aguada for the third consecutive year, as the providers of the vehicles and official suppliers, respectively, while, Río Uruguay Seguros will continue their support to both La Aguada and the Novillo Astrada family for the eleventh year in a row as the official insurance. Ona Polo, Logi Polo and Stella Artois will also support the members of La Aguada. All the representatives of the sponsors praised the Novillo Astrada brothers and Alfredo Bigatti, not only as remarkable polo players but also, and more important, for their values as human beings.
Following the presentation, the team members replied questions from the media while everybody were invited to enjoy a delicious Argentine asado.
In addition, guests and media representatives took part of the fun of the Kia Challenge, a fantastic opportunity to have a great time as well as show their skills with the polo mallet. The lucky winners were presented with prizes by Kia, Río Uruguay Seguros and New Balance.
