OFFICIAL PRESENTATION AGUADA LAS MONJITAS
The official presentation of La Aguada Las Monjitas, was held on Friday September 23, at La Aguada Polo Club, in Open Door, Argentina.
The 35-goal lineup, who will play the Triple Crown in Argentina, is comprised by the four Novillo Astrada brothers – Alejandro (8), Eduardo h (9), Miguel (9) and Ignacio (9).
La Aguada Las Monjitas will play the championship match of the Jockey Club Open against El Paso Polo Ranch La Dolfina, due on Saturday September 24. They will make their debut in the first leg of the Triple Crown, the Tortugas Open, on Tuesday September 27.
Many special guests and media joined the team members and the representatives of their sponsors: Rio Uruguay Seguros, New Balance, KIA Argentina y Escorihuela Gascón.
Both Rio Uruguay Seguros, the official insurance company, and Escorihuela Gascón renew their trust and confidence towards the members of La Aguada Las Monjitas, emphasizing their qualities as professionals, and, moreover, their values as human beings.
Two new sponsors have joined this year: New Balance, the official supplier and KIA Argentina, the prestigious Korean automobile, that will provide the team members with the opportunity to enjoy some of their best products; the brand new SUV, Sportage and Sorento, as well as the innovative familiar, van Carnival.
Following the presentation, the guests enjoyed a traditional Argentine asado in a fantastic and sunny spring day. In addition, the attendants were challenged to throw penalty shots and try to get the ball inside the boot of a KIA van. The winner was journalist Tucán Pereyra Iraola, who won a weekend at La Aguada, a car provided by KIA during the weekend, New Balance sneakers and wines by Escorihuela Gascón.
