The most eagerly awaited final match of the Triple Crown , The Singapore  Open  2015 , which saw the final two teams  Head Hunters/ Elevation  ( led by  Satinder Garcha  )  and  K2 Polo Nirvana  ( led by Vinor Kumar ) was a fierce battle from start to finish.  Both teams showed their sheer determination, as the riders and ponies jostled for the upper hand for a very close finish.

Waqus Khan of  K2 Polo Nirvana received the award as Most Valuable Player, Claudia belonging to Yeo Kuo Lee, was named Best Playing Pony and Lambada belonging to Asa Jumabhoy was the Best Turnout Pony.

Quote from Mr Satinder Gatcha, Captain of Headhunters/ Elevation

It was a good game!

It feels good to win, especially since it’s the first time a Triple Crown was ever won in Singapore. However, if we had lost, we would be happy as both teams played extremely well. We changed the strategy towards the end and we are glad it worked!

Quote from Mr Vinod Kumar, Captain of K2 Polo Nirvana

The game was real close, it could have been won by either team. In the last 15 secs, there was an opportunity and the other team used it to score their final goal. It could have been anyone’s game today.

Congratulations to the winning team!  It was well played.  They have a strong team, they pulled off a good fight and they played well.

So that’s  for the final Tournament in the Triple Crown Series but the polo season continues until November with several exciting tournaments taking place in the coming months.

Watch out for The Barclays Japan Cup 2015 ( 29-30 Aug ) ,  Ladies International Polo Tournament  ( 30 Sept- 4 Oct ) , The Korea Cup 2015  ( 17-18 Oct ) , British Polo Day (31 Oct  ),  and  Melbourne Cup 2015 ( 3 Nov ).
