Prime Time Polo Returns to Television

 

Palm Beach, Florida….

 

For the third consecutive year WHDT-TV will
provide televised coverage of high-goal polo, aired from the International Polo
Club in Wellington, Florida, where the world’s top players will compete in the
highest rated international polo competition in the world.

 

Produced and directed by television veteran
Ron Allen, the new one hour format will feature International Polo Club game
highlights, player interviews, behind the scenes stories, features on local
food and fashion.

 

“All of our HD cameras feature slo-motion and
instant re-play to enhance the viewer’s experience,” offered Allen,. “We have a
veteran crew that has years of polo filming experience and are looking forward
to bringing this exciting on field experience into the living rooms of a
growing audience again this season.”

 

With a polo broadcasting background that
includes ESPN and FOX sports, Allen created Prime Time Polo in an effort to
expand the base of polo enthusiasts, and was recently named Broadcast Media
Director for the United States Polo Association.

 

High-goal polo coverage will begin on Monday,
January 9 at 8pm on Comcast channels 17 and 438, and will continue
through the finals of the US Open on Monday, April 23.
