The Summer Cup speaks Hungarian but the Monte Argentario Gold Cup is Italian
Sunday 28th July 2013 ended the most awaited tournaments of the 2013 Polo Season.
In the Summer Cup 2013 the Hungarian team Cassiopeia led by Gyorgi Ivanics and Robert Szucs,the friendly and affectionate guest of Argentario Polo Club, defeated all the Italian teams . With them the talented Argentinian professional polo players Fernando Mino and Edgardo Llambi.
In the Monte Argentario Gold Cup Pellicano hotel returned to win the team from Milan Epheso Mimosa. The Epheso Mimosa with the Swiss Team Drytech played a very thrilling final that ended in the extra time with the Golden Goal scored by the Argentinian professional player Juan Josè Storni.
The captain of the winning team Stefania Annunziata shared the great satisfaction with his son Edoardo Ferrari and the Argentinian Juan Ruiz Guinazu.
During the prize giving the large audience applauded all tournaments participants.
For this important event we had the pleasure to present to our customers and audience a new prestigious partner: The Ruggeri, Lenza, Buglioni Company. Thanks to Mr Toni Mambrini the company offered a tasting of their highest level wines.
The Gold Cup is played since 1987 and it has always been the Argentario Polo Club most prestigious tournament. The Mimosa team won this title in 2006, 2007, 2012. This is the second year in a row!
Next event: The International Polo Tournament Coppa Italia F.I.S.E. It is organized in collaboration with the Italian Federation of Equestrian Sports and it will attended by 10 international teams
