Uber Polo Ladies Tournament

The UberPolo Ladies Arena Tournament & The Battle of the Sexes Challenge

In an exhilarating spectacle of girl power, team Hawksfold and the UberPolo Ladies were crowned the Queens of the arena at the ‘Here Come the Girls’ tournament weekend at the All England Polo Club, Hickstead. The competitive action at AEPC kicked off in earnest on 27th – 28th November with the opening of season tournaments once again generously sponsored by UberPolo…the one stop shop for polo whites and accessories.

The UberPolo Ladies Arena Tournament featured a superb line up of fine fillies, as the all female teams of Las Vacas Locas, UberPolo, Hawksfold and KSJ Consulting Ltd. entered the fray, and in a closely fought affair Hawksfold and Las Vacas Locas came through from the qualifying games, and advancing in to the final on Sunday.

Finals day culminated with the UberPolo 3-6 Goal Battle of the Sexes Challenge, which saw AEPC’s Polo Manager Sarah Wiseman go head-to-head with Club Director John Bunn. Although at a slight disadvantage in terms of physical strength, Wiseman and her brave charges gave as good as they could give holding their own in several fierce ride offs with the Head Honcho. The superior tactic and exceptional teamwork of the UberPolo Ladies; with visiting player Alex Jacob and long standing AEPC member Fiona Reilly, won them the title as they defeat the Hickstead Men 13-7.
