The 20-goal tournaments feature some of the nation’s most talented polo players including America’s top-rated Nic Roldan, rated at eight goals, and attracts the largest crowds of the fall season.

In last year’s USPA National 20-Goal tournament, Audi’s team of Marc Ganzi, Jeff Blake, Sugar Erskine and Carlucho Arellano defeated Flexjet, 11-8, to win the coveted title.

Erskine was named Most Valuable Player. Little Boy, a 7-year-old Dark Bay gelding owned and ridden by Erskine, was named Best Playing Pony.

Erskine will be sidelined for three months after a recent accident on a polo field. He underwent successful surgery in Houston. According to his family, he will be immobilized in a brace for three months. He is expected to be back on the polo field for the 2017 winter season.

Travieso is defending champion of the USPA North American Cup. The foursome of Tony Calle, JJ Celis, Facundo Obregon and Jesse Bray defeated Flexjet, 12-6, in the final in front of a packed
house.

Bray, a member of Team USPA, was named Most Valuable Player. Thirty-Two, an 8-year-old Dark Bay mare, ridden and owned by Celis, was named Best Playing Pony.
