Open Days at the All England Polo Club, Hickstead


Excitement levels are reaching fever pitch at Hickstead as they countdown to the beginning of their sixth arena polo season. The All England Polo Club will be hosting two of their popular Open Weekends at the beginning of the season (29th & 30th October and 5th & 6th November), to which everyone is welcome to give it a try and experience first-hand what arena polo is all about.

The polo open weekends offer the perfect opportunity to view the Hickstead’s facilities, plus meet the members and club personnel, HPA instructors and their stable of rental ponies. Visitors will learn all about the many tuition opportunities from short courses and ‘Discover polo’ lessons, to instructional chukkas, challenge matches and tournaments. 

Chukkas at the open days start at midday, and are entirely free of charge, and all the polo staff will be present to answer any questions in relation to livery, polo corporate days, social eventsLive and general AEPC club-life.   

For those of you who enjoy the social side of the sport, the arena-side clubhouse is ideal for a delicious day out and a taste of the après polo enjoyment that Hickstead is famous for. Admission and car parking at all tournament fixtures throughout the season is entirely free of charge and everybody is welcome go along to watch.
