It is thought that this is one of the highest scoring games ever in the Cartier Queen’s Cup so what a start to the 2013 competition. A shock result on the opening day as Dubai was in the lead until the final minutes of the sixth and final chukka.
Emlor def. Enigma 12-10
A tight and close game at Coworth Park from these two popular high-goal teams
The League One teams will all be back in action again on Sunday 26 May. (1-0) Emlor face (0-1) Dubai at Guards and (1-0) El Remanso will play (0-1) Enigma at Coworth Park.
League Two
Zacara def. Twelve Oaks 13-8
A clear-cut win for Lyndon Lea’s team, fresh from success in the US Open. They dominated the match, leading 7-4 at half-time and going on to win convincingly. Twelve Oaks failed to score at all in two chukkas.
Zacara is next in action on Bank Holiday Monday, 27 May at Guards, playing against Les Lions. Twelve Oaks play the day before in a match against EFG Bank Aravali, part of an action packed day of high-goal polo at Guards.
