High-goal polo returns to Grand Champions

High-goal polo returns to the Grand Champions Polo Club with six teams taking the field in the USPA North American Cup. Competition is slated to get underway on Wednesday, November 11th with the opening two games of the tournament with teams to be decided through a tournament draw on Monday evening.
Audi (Marc Ganzi, Jeff Blake, Sugar Erskine and Carlucho Arellano), Barbarossa Leather (Leo Mandelbaum, Julio Ezcurra, Tommy Biddle and Martin Estrada), Casablanca (Grant Ganzi, Carlitos Gracida, Jeff Hall and Guille Aguero), FlexJet (Melissa Ganzi, Jason Crowder, Nic Roldan and Juan Bollini), Postage Stamp Farm (Annabelle Gundlach, Brandon Phillips, Julio Arellano and Pelon Escapite) and Travieso (Tony Calle, Jesse Bray, Facundo Obregon and J.J. Celis) will be taking part in the competition that will run from Wednesday thru Sunday, and will be featuring America’s top polo playing talent.
Julio Arellano and Nic Roldan are the highest rated players in the country with 8-goal handicap. Jeff Hall will be taking the field with an impressive 7-goal rating while a bevy of 6-goalers include Guille Aguero, Tommy Biddle, Jeff Blake, Jason Crowder, Sugar Erskine, Pelon Escapite and Facundo Obregon. Five-goalers Carlucho Arellano, Juan Bollini and Jesse Bray will also be on the field for the 20-goal tournament.
Grant Ganzi’s Casablanca team will be returning to defend their 2014 title but will be doing it with an altered lineup that will include Jeff Hall, Guille Aguero and Carlitos Gracida.
The 2015 USPA North American Cup will be followed by the popular National Twenty-Goal with the season wrapping up with a 24-goal international match between the United States and South Africa.
