2017 U.S. Open

2017 U.S. Open Is Finally Here!

Dine Fieldside at Sunday Brunch

A special brunch experience awaits diners April 9 at The Pavilion, featuring an exquisite array of food offerings and the best seat in the house to watch the first Sunday match of the 2017 United States Open Polo Championship®. The U.S. Open, hosted for the 14th consecutive year at the International Polo Club Palm Beach (IPC), is the most prestigious high-goal tournament in this country. This Sunday two power teams, Flexjet and Travieso (the latter a new team in the US Open), will face off in the featured match on Engel & Völkers field at 3 p.m.

Start off your day by watching the action-packed polo game ringside while you enjoy an extravagant brunch buffet and champagne. It’s the weekend highlight everyone is raving about and includes everything from eggs Benedict to prime rib and so much more. Then make your selection at the endless dessert table. Fieldside tables make you feel like you are part of the action. So, feel free to enjoy your lunch while watching polo players vying for the ball just feet away from your table. And make sure to bring your camera so you can capture those special moments.

This month features a unique opportunity to begin your brunch at a Meet & Greet with three young professional polo players representing Team USPA. Attired in authentic polo gear, they will be on hand to shake hands, pose with you in a photo and tell you why polo is the most exciting sport on four legs. Bring a polo ball for them to sign!

The fun continues at half time, when you can join in the excitement of divot stomping along with free champagne and ice cream and another fun picture opportunity. It’s the perfect place for every member in the family. Stomp some divots around the field and wear your snazziest Sunday fashions—you may be #SpottedatIPC in our Facebook Live video and Instagram photos. Each week the IPC social media will select a special someone to be spotted, so be sure to get on the field for halftime!

Continue your special day at the after-party, and don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes. Our lively after-party at The Pavilion starts immediately after the awards ceremony, with music, dancing and an opportunity to mingle with others who love the polo social scene.
