2nd Annual Polo Pony Show

Nation’s Best Polo Ponies Set to Compete for Top Honors in West Palm Beach

Wellington, Florida— The American Polo Horse Association presents the second annual National Polo Pony Show, March 29, 2011, at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The National Polo Pony Show provides the opportunity for players, breeders, trainers and owners to showcase their polo pony or prospect to the U.S. polo community and receive recognition in the polo pony black-type program. The show includes halter classes, mounted performance, junior horsemanship, and groom’s competition.

“This year’s show represents the largest and most elite polo pony exhibition in America. It’s the only opportunity here in the United States where trainers to 10-goal players ,sponsors, fans and spectators can mingle amongst the biggest influence and passion of our sport—the polo pony,” said Sunny Hale, APHA President.

New in 2011 is the addition of Stallion Alley, sponsored by Palm Beach Equine Clinic, a live auction to kick off the announcement of the 2012 Breeders Select and Prospect Sale, as well as a silent auction to benefit the Polo Museum and Philadelphia-based Work To Ride program.  Stallion Alley kicks off at 4pm with a preview parade. The stallions will remain on display from 4-9p.m. for mare owners and spectators to view and discuss breeding opportunities with stallion owners.
