Lechuza Caracas, classified for the Bulgari Gold Cup’s semifinals
Lechuza Caracas is the first classified team for the Bulgari Gold Cup’s semifinals, after defeating RH by 10-9 and getting its third consecutive win in Zone B for the most important trophy of the 44th Land Rover International Polo Tournament.
The squad formed by Víctor Vargas, José Donoso, Juan Martín Nero and Julián Lusarreta got a hard and tied win over RH and closes this way the classification phase unbeaten and with a perfect score.
Also today, in the same Zone B, La Indiana defeated Murus Sanctus by 15-10 and got its first win in the Bulgari Gold Cup.
With today’s results, La Indiana, RH Polo and Murus Sanctus will have to define by penalties their pass to the next phase in Zone B. The definition will take place at Dos Lunas Polo Club at 11:00h.
The third and last day of classifications in Zone B will be held tomorrow with two attractive matches at Los Pinos fields.
At 17:00h, on Field II, Ayala Polo Team will face HB Polo. At 18:30h Dos Lunas A&G Banca Privada will face Dubai on Los Pinos IV.
MEDIUM GOAL
The Gold Cup in Medium Goal has already defined its semifinalists today on Puente de Hierro fields, at Santa María Polo Club.
Saint Mesme, Bayswater-Sapphire, Equus Polo and Golden Goose Delux Brand are the four teams that will contest the semifinals on Tuesday 25.
St. Mesme defeated Opel Royal Salute by 10-4, Golden Goose beated Yaguara by 12-9 and Equus won Bayswater-Sapphire by 11-8.
The teams in the semifinals will be: St. Mesme facing Bayswater-Sapphire and Equus facing Golden Goose Deluxe Brand.
The final of the Subsidiary Cup will face Opel-Royal Salute and Yaguará.
LOW GOAL
The last day of classifications for the Valecuatro Gold Cup in Low Goal will be held tomorrow on Puente de Hierro fields.
At 11:00h, La Clarita will face Mahra Polo on Field I. At the same time, on Field II, Opel- John Smith will face GSA.
The last match, at 12:15h, will face Valdeparras Lynx and El Cañal.
