Brunei is the champion of the Aerolíneas Argentinas Gold Cup
The Brunei team has claimed its title as champion of the Aerolineas Argentinas Gold Cup after defeating Golden Goose Deluxe Brand by 11-8 and in this way has managed to get the double title on the 45th INDI International Polo Tournament with a remarkable performance: they just lost one match during the whole month.
Coincidentally, the only team that defeated them was their rival of today, Golden Goose on the second day of the Aerolineas Argentinas Gold Cup.
Today, in the grand final, Brunei didn’t leave space for speculations and leaded the game from the third chukka onwards.
Golden Goose Deluxe Brand, leaded by Cristian Bernal, fought till the last second but couldn’t surpass the strong Brunei formed by HRH Prince Jefri, Rosendo Torreguitar, Facundo Fernández Llorente and Guillermo Willington.
Facundo Fernández Llorente was the MVP de la final and won a plane ticket Madrid-Buenos Aires on the Condor Class from Aerolíneas Argentinas while Cristian Bernal’s Fiesta was the BPP of the Final.
The subsidiary Cup went to Twenty/20, team formed by Phillip De Groot, Kevin Korst, Tommy Garbarini and Juan Monteverde, after defeating Royal Salute on OT by 11 – 10.

Cartier Gold Cup High Goal
