Park Place won against Tamera by a score of 12-8 in the U.S. Open Polo Championship at National Polo Center on Tuesday 2nd March.
The Teams:
An unfortunate turn of events for Diego Cavanagh in the first chukka saw the second player of Tamera in as many games sidelined through injury. Understandably rattled, the Tamera side saw no mercy from Park Place who proved their sheer power in the third chukka of this match to send home 5 goals leading to an uncatchable lead going into halftime.
Tamera, did their best with consistent play, not giving up but it wasn’t to be and Park Place’s Hilario Ulloa and Juan Britos, last year’s U.S Open Polo Championship winners, proved to be too much of a powerhouse combo, running out the clear winners at the final whistle.
