Cartier International Dubai Polo Challenge 2014 – Day 1

Desert Palm and Cartier kicked off their 2014 campaign with victories. Tariq and Rashid Albwardy’s DESERT PALM defeated HH Sheikha Maitha and Mohammed Al Habtoor’s UAE POLO TEAM 11 – 6 on the Clubhouse Ground. 

Adriano Agosti and Saeed Bin Drai’s CARTIER team, which received half a goal on handicap, beat Amr Zedan and Faris Al Yabhouni’s CNN team 81/2 – 6.

Still early days and all to play for. Today sees matches between the yesterday’s winners at 14.30pm (Desert Palm v Cartier), followed by UAE Polo Team v CNN at 15.45pm (local times).
