Following the results of Tuesday’s Silver Cup High Goal semi-finals, riding into another final on Friday is once again Valiente (Robert Jormayvez, Santiago Laborde, Adolfo Cambiaso and Santiago Torres), still with no losses to their name in this season in Sotogrande.  Playing in opposition to them will be Dos Lunas Banco Espirito Santo (Luis Domecq, Pacual Sainz de Vicuna, Agustin Garcia Grossi and Martin Iturraspe) following their close win over Ayala.

The semis were both exciting games, but the Pieres brothers, Gonzalo and Facundo, were not able to make it through to the final and a chance to defend their 2013 Silver Cup win as team Valiente kept putting the goals on the board, finally running away with a 16-10 win.  Meanwhile in the later match it all looked to be going Ayala’s way as they started the second half a significant number of goals ahead at 12-5.  With great determination, teamwork and on pitch skill Dos Lunas Banco Espirito Santo narrowed the gap and entered the last chukka just one goal behind and ultimately ended up one goal ahead to win the game  16-15.

So in Friday’s subsidiary-final at 17:00 King Power play Las Monjitas on LPIII, the final follows on LPIV at 18:30 when Valiente play Dos Lunas – Banco Espirito Santo.
