Dubai Cup – Day 3

Habtoor Polo will play against Zedan the Dubai Cup final 

Habtoor won this afternoon their second match in a row and qualified to the final of the 2nd Edition of The Dubai Cup 2016 held at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club. 

Habtoor Polo team, made by Habtoor Al Habtoor, Justo Cuitiño, Marcos Panelo and Santiago Gómez Romero, defeated DPEC by 7 goals to 6.5 and will play the Dubai Cup final next friday against Zedan. 

In a great match, Habtoor Polo quickly reduced the DPEC 1.5 goal handicap advantage and controlled game during the first half.
In the third chukka, DPEC, with Marco Focaccia and Gonzalo Yanzon leading the team, made a great comeback and put some suspense to match.
Finally, in the last seven minutes, Marcos Panelo and Santiago Gómez Romero scored for Habtoor for the final 7 goals to 6.5 victory.

In the first match of the day, F4Z defeated Mahra by 6 goals to 5.5 in, as showned in the scoreboard, a very close game.
Both teams will be again face to face next Friday for the subsidiary final of the Dubai Cup.

The Dubai Cup will continue next Friday with the final matches at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club.
Starting at 3pm Mahra will play against F4Z Polo team the Subsidiary Final and from 4.30 pm the great final will be held by Habtoor Polo vs Zedan. 

The medium tournament is played by 5 teams from 8-10 goal handicap and will close the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series season.

The first edition of Dubai Cup 2015 Final, was won by Bin Drai Polo Team – Patron Saeed Bin Drai and Habtoor Polo – Patron Mohamed Al Habtoor won the subsidiary final.
