Mahra Polo wins and qualifies to the semifinals of the McLaren Cup 2018
Mahra Polo defeated Zedan by 5.5 goals to 5 in the single match held today for the McLaren Cup, the opening trophy of the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series 2018, 18-goals handicap competition, at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club.
This victory makes patron ́s Rashid Al Habtoor team the first one to reach the semifinals of the tournament after a 2-2 win record.
Mahra and Zedan held a superb polo match, with great polo level and full speed actions during the five chukkers match.
Actions and the score was even during all the game and the half goal handicap for Mahra, as in the first match against Bin Drai, made again the difference.
Pablo Mac Donough (Zedan) was the top scorer of the match with 4 goals and Jerónimo del Carril the top scorer in Mahra with 4.
