Mariano Aguerre leaves La Dolfina
Mariano Aguerre leaves La Dolfina just a few weeks after scoring the winning goal at the Argentine Open final
Aguerre who has been with the Canuelas based team since 2005, and has own the Argentine Open in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009 and Hurlingham Open in 2005 during his five seasons with La Dolfina, decided to leave the team. Mariano said “I am leaving on a high and am very grateful to La Dolfina. I was very lucky to form part of such a great team.”
During his career, the 40 year old player won the Argentine Open on eight occasions. Besides the four times with La Dolfina, Mariano also won the Open with Ellerstina in 1994, 1997 and 1998 and with Indios Capaleufu in 2001.
It is not known at the moment who will replace Aguerre, but no doubt an announcement will be made in the next few days.
