THE SOUTH EAST ASIA POLO AWARDS 2015
As the UK Polo Awards event approaches its tenth year anniversary, Polofix is delighted to have taken the Polo Awards overseas for the inaugural South East Asia Polo Awards at the Thai Polo & Equestrian Club.
Hosted by Harald Link on Saturday 17th January, the evening combined celebrations, with the final of the Thai Polo Open, and provided a perfect opportunity to applaud and celebrate the successes of the teams who won the 2014 South East Asian equivalent of the Victor Ludorum Series, The Royal Malaysian Polo Association Polo League.
Having supported the UK Polo Awards for many years, Harald Link commented:
“Having been a sponsor and supporter of the UK Polo Awards since its conception and inauguration 10 years ago, I was delighted to welcome the South East Asia Polo Awards to Thai Polo, to celebrate the teams’ achievements as our International League continues to grow and develop. With the final of the Thai Polo Open taking place last weekend, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to host the Awards with so many players and visitors already at the Club. I very much look forward to continuing to grow the event in years to come.”
The RMPA Polo League is divided into three categories – high, medium and low goal with teams from across South East Asia competing to win the league at their chosen level.
