Mohammed Al Habtoor Announces the 2nd Edition of Dubai Cup Polo Tournament
Under the Patronage of HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
DUBAI, UAE – Mohammed Al Habtoor, Founder of the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series, today announced the 2nd Edition of The Dubai Cup 2016.
Mohammed Al Habtoor said, “I am proud to host the 2nd Edition of the Dubai Cup Polo Tournament at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club, our new equestrian development in DubaiLand. The medium tournament has an 8-10 goal handicap, will be held from Saturday April 9, 2016 to Friday April 15, 2016. There will be five strong teams vying for the title.”

Al Habtoor added, “This season Dubai has played host to more polo events than ever before, including international polo tournaments. This city is attracting players and spectators from all over the world. Dubai is firmly on the world map as a top-notch polo destination. This is down to the commitment of the government, the patrons of all the teams and the players.”
The first edition of Dubai Cup 2015 Final, was won by Bin Drai Polo Team – Patron Saeed Bin Drai and Habtoor Polo – Patron Mohamed Al Habtoor won the subsidiary final.
