Copa de Plata Semi Finals
Thursday saw the closely fought semi finals of the Copa de Plata, Ellerstina’s 14 goal tournament. Both games were played simultaneously, with spectators switching pitches to get a feel for both games throughout. Ellerstina met the much changed (through injury) Prata Audi Polo team. Ellerstina quickly took back the one goal advantage that lower handicapped Prata started with, scoring three goals in the first chukka and leading for the majority of the match, finished 11-9 ahead. In the other match, Miramar emerged victorious over La Golondrina after stepping up their game in the final two chukkas, winning 11-8.
