B. Grimm Masters Tournament 2011 – Final

B. Grimm Masters Tournament 2011

The final day of the B. Grimm Masters Tournament saw Malaysia play GTM for the title.

Malaysia needed to keep their winning streak alive to take home the trophy, while a draw or better would have been enough for GTM.

An extremely close game went back and forth for four chukkas and halfway through the last chukka, the score was tied at 6 to 6. After an altercation which resulted in one player from each side being sent off, GTM took the lead for the first time, courtesy of a 30 yard penalty by Fergus Gould. Malaysia squared things up but were unable to pull ahead. The resulting draw was enough for GTM to win, Malaysia came second, followed by Thai Polo, then Macau in fourth place, and Maple Leaf in fifth place.
