In the late afternoon, the final of the Medium Goal followed. It was Helen Goddard-Watts’ team, TenderWorks, that won the ADS Securities Open Du Soleil Medium Goal, following an extra chukka and the ‘sudden death’ rule. Tenderworks played against the Los Nocheros team with a final score of 7 to 6.
Best Playing Poney: Huella played by Juani Gonzales
MVP: Valentin Novillo Astrada
Fair Play: Helen Goddard-Watts
The very high level of both finals and the very tight scores highlight the competitiveness of the participating teams.
An elegant prize-giving ceremony offering many trophies and prizes awaited the players and, with their hands full, the teams assembled on the terraces of Polo 1999.
Generous bottles of “Chateau D’Esclans” wine were centre stage on all the tables.
The Stefano Forever night could then finally begin. The cabaret transported players and guests to a universe of glitter, lights and pretty dancers.
ADS Securities Executive Managing Director of Global Head of Brokerage, Mr Marco Baggioli, and Retail Sales Manager of ADS Securities London, Mr Jamieson Blake, presented the ADS Securities Silver Plate prizes to the teams and feature in the photographs of the event. We would like to thank ADS Securities for its continued and generous support.
Further prizes for Fair Play and Most Valuable Player were awarded by La Martina, the Polo Club’s technical polo equipment partner. Lord Rothermere was presented with a saddle from La Martina and MVP Bautista Ortiz de Urbina was presented with La Martina polo boots. We would like to thank La Martina for its support.
All the teams were presented with beautiful items of lifestyle clothing from the Club’s clothing partner, Vicomte A. Thank you Vicomte A for your support also.
We would like to thank all our sponsors and partners for their continued support.
