All Pro League to host “All Star” Sotogrande exhibition
The All Pro Polo League (APPL) returns to Santa Maria Polo Club, Sotogrande, this Sunday, August 13, with an exhibition like no other. Many of the world’s best players – Facundo Pieres, Pablo Mac Donough, Juan Martin Nero, David Stirling, Pite Merlos, Facundo Sola – have agreed to take part in the league.
The APPL will take place at 5:30pm at Los Pinos, before the high goal Silver Cup final; only those players not in the tournament final will be able to play the exhibition. Notwithstanding, the enthusiasm of Argentine Triple Crown players to form part of the league signals to the international success of the APPL, which aims to encourage dynamic, open polo and motivate a professional attitude towards the sport.
Teams will be confirmed on Friday afternoon.
