BUDDHA-BAR LONDON WELCOMES AUDI INTERNATIONAL POLO STARS
England polo captain, Luke Tomlinson and Argentine star, Facundo Pieres arrived at Buddha-Bar London with horses last night as the Knightsbridge lounge restaurant celebrated becoming entertainment partner of the Audi International Polo 2014.
With England and Argentina due to do battle at the Guards Polo Club on July 26, two of the sport’s biggest stars got the rivalry and the anticipation going ahead of the Coronation Cup.
For the first time, Buddha-Bar – through its new sister service, Buddha-Bar Boutique – will host the official after party on-site at Guards Polo Club for the players, celebrities and the public. The exclusive restaurant and bar venue will also offer all-day entertainment coupled with its famous food and drink menus.
The Audi International is the first of a number of summer social eventsLive that will play host to Buddha-Bar Boutique as the brand extends beyond its famous Knightsbridge home.
England Captain, Luke Tomlinson, said: “This is the biggest match of this summer. Audi England have never beaten Argentina to win the Coronation Cup and it is going to be a huge challenge playing against Adolfo Cambiaso and Facundo Pieres, the two best players in the world. Hopefully we will be celebrating a Coronation Cup win at the Buddha-Bar Boutique after party”
Facundo Pieres of Argentina said: “The Audi International is one of my favourite eventsLive of the year and I cannot wait for the chance to play for the Coronation Cup. It is always a strongly fought contest and I’m sure this year will be no different.”
