C.V. Whitney Cup – Day 6 Wins for Pilot & Clearwater

More high goal action took place on Friday 14th February at the National Polo Center for the C.V Whitney Cup. It might have been Valentine’s Day but no love was lost between these teams as they battled it out for the all important second round matches and their places in the Semi Finals.

Match 1:

First up, Pilot won against BTA by a score of 13-9 after a great second half from Pilot saw them claw back the lead and ride to their second win of the tournament while BTA failed to chalk up a victory. Pilot take their place in the Semi Finals on Wednesday 19th February.

Match 2:

In the second match of the day, Clearwater won against La Fe Eastern Hay by a score of 16-14 in the C.V. Whitney Cup at National Polo Center on Friday 14th February, coming from behind they had a great second half with 5 and 4 goals respectively in the 4th and 5th chukkas. The second game for both teams, they now each have a 1-1 win-loss record as they head into the Subsidiary Semi Finals.
