Julian Hipwood confirmed the fact that Julian Daniels (6) and Sugar Erskine (7) had been asked to serve as alternates for the 2009 British Westchester Cup team.  The obvious advantage to both Erskine and Daniels is the fact that they have horses based in the United States and will be ready to play for the February 21 Westchester Cup match.


Erskine and Daniels will compliment the British lineup of Mark and Luke Tomlinson, Jim Biem and English born Eduardo Novillo Astrada.  Javier Novillo Astrada is the team coach.


The US teams remains Adam Snow, Mike Azzaro, Jeff Blake and Nick Roldan.  Julio Arellano will serve as the alternate.  Former 10-goaler Owen Rinehart will serve as the team coach.
