Lucchese 40-Goal Polo Challenge to Benefit Injured/Ill Polo Players and Grooms |
Ticket reservations are available for Wellington’s highest rated polo event of the season. The Lucchese 40-Goal Polo Challenge has been set for February 17, 2018, at the International Polo Club Palm Beach and will showcase many of the biggest names in the sport to play the highest level of polo in North America. More than just an exciting game, the charity event concludes with a seated dinner and live auction to benefit the Polo Players Support Group (PPSG).
The Lucchese 40-Goal Polo Challenge is the marquee fundraising event of the Polo Players Support Group, raising funds to provide financial assistance to players and grooms who have been seriously injured or ill. The PPSG has provided over $2.2 million to 71 people since it’s inception in 2002.
“We’re looking forward to a fantastic event at International Polo Club,” said Dave Offen, President of the PPSG. “Due to the dangerous nature of polo it is likely the PPSG will continue to receive requests for assistance. Thanks to the generosity of the polo community, we’ve been able to help so many people over the years and we hope to continue to do so.”
In addition, title sponsor Lucchese is donating 20% of purchase proceeds to the PPSG when you shop using the promo code LUC40GOAL.
