Mad Dogs Trumptington beat Black Eagles by a 10-8 score, and won the La Aguada Guards Polo Cup, following the finals that took place at La Aguada Polo Club, in Open Door, Argentina. Therefore, Mad Dogs took their rematch, as they had previously lost to Black Eagles in the last qualifying round of the tournament, that took place on Friday, December 6.
In the Subsidiary final, Emlor and La Manada tied 7-7.
Several patrons and players of Guards Polo Club, one of the most prestigious polo clubs in England and Europe, as well as worldwide, played during this competition, that showcased four 16-goal lineups.
This tournament strengthens the links between La Aguada Polo Club and Guards Polo Club, a partnership that brings together two of the most renowned polo venues worldwide.
