The first two quarterfinals lived up to the expectations today, with two very different scenarios:
La Magdeleine defeated Clinova Noa Capital after a record-breaking 27-goal game! Tied 13–13 in the final minutes, it’s a 30-yard penalty by Jero del Carril that sealed the win and the M Trophy Cup. La Magdeleine takes the first ticket to the semifinals.
The second quarterfinal was much tighter, with every goal counting. But the magic of Pelón Stirling and the accuracy of Louis Hine (scoring 5 penalties out of the team’s 8 goals) made the difference. Despite 5 field goals, Brittany Polo Club fell 8–6. Octogone Polo Team joins La Magdeleine in the semis, lifting the Maison en Toscane Cup.
