PGH La Palmeraie Polo Club – A Territory of Passion

Located just 35 kilometres from the international airport in Tangier, the Palmeraie Polo Club is a unique land, a land of excellence, that offers three polo grounds facing the Sidi Mghayt beach in Massalah, on a site founded by Patrick Guerrand-Hermès.

The club currently has 64 polo horses and offers a full array of activities : stick and ball, practice, horse rides, and also tournaments managed by a team of Argentinian players who live there.

For those who love water sports, the beach offers activities such as surf, kayak, the paddle, jet-ski, but also quad. Close to the ocean, the Palmeraie Polo Club is an ideal place to discover with family or during a romantic break, with its nice parties and delicious meals in full board.

Another site which must be seen is Haras Al Busafi, dedicated to polo horse breeding by a team of horse trainers managed by Ignacio Tejerina, also Polo Manager, who prepares the future generations of champions.

The latest success from the breeding is La Boxaderia, named best horse in the final of the 2017 French Open and belonging to Juan Pepa : « I am so happy for this mare born in Morocco on the land of Patrick Guerrand-Hermès. This prize is a tribute to this breeding, that produces such great polo horses. It’s the greatest part of this story. All of my horses come from Patrick’s breeding. »
