It was a low scoring game on Thursday 11th April as Pilot defeat The Dutta Corp by a score of 7-6 in the U.S. Open Polo Championship at National Polo Center.
In a tightly contested match, both teams showcased their skill and strategy on the field. Despite the low scoring affair, the intensity remained high throughout the game with Pilot leading comfortably throughout. With the final score ending 7-6, every goal was hard-earned, highlighting the defensive prowess of The Dutta Corp as they kept Pilot’s 17 shots on goal to only 5 field goals and kept the penalty shooting powerhouse of Facundo Pieres with his 100% penalty accuracy to a minimum of opportunities.

The final chukka saw a comeback from The Dutta Corp that tantalised the crowds with thoughts of overtime but a goal from Garcia del Rio as the final horn went wasn’t enough to equalise the score.
