Polo America Beach Polo Cup

Fans will get the opportunity to watch some of the best players in the world compete in a beautiful setting on the hotel’s white sandy beach.

Aspen Valley Polo Club will be represented by Grant Ganzi, Juancito Bollini and Pablo Dorignac. Three other teams entered in the second annual event are San Diego Porsche, Hotel Del Coronado and U.S. Polo Assn.

In a beautiful setting with the hotel and Pacific Ocean as breathtaking backdrops, the Labor Day weekend event will feature fine dining and parties and increased fan seating from 1,500 to 3,000.

The event begins Friday night (Sept. 1) when the 10,000 square foot VIP Tent is turned into a giant cocktail lounge to watch polo. The front row of the tent is designated as Millionaire’s Row. Twelve luxurious boxes feature white leather furniture with seating for ten.

There will be a Friday night fashion contest in the VIP Tent for Men. Attire is white tuxedo/dinner jacket, black tie and colorful surfer shorts. Prizes will be awarded for Best Dressed Man, Best Dressed Woman and Best Dressed Couple.

On Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 2-3) guests can choose between a box in Millionaires Row, a Gold VIP table or a combination of both. The Gold VIP seating is on the front row of the second terrace in the VIP Tent. Attendees are treated to a formal three-course luncheon and wine provided by Hotel del Coronado. Grayse will have informal modeling during lunch each day. Millionaire’s Row Box catering menus will offer guests a wide array of food to choose from.
