ROYAL SALUTE SCOTCH WHISKY POLO TEAM TO COMPETE IN THE
43RD LAND ROVER INTERNATIONAL POLO TOURNAMENT, SOTOGRANDE, SPAIN 2014
Royal Salute continues to support polo on a worldwide scale by entering the Royal Salute Polo Team in the 2014 Torneo Internacional de Polo (43rd Land Rover International Polo Tournament). The teams’ involvement further demonstrates the brand’s ongoing commitment and passion for polo today, and for the future. The event in Sotogrande, is one of the world’s leading tournaments, which takes place at the prestigious Santa Maria Polo Club in Sotogrande, Spain from Monday 28th July until August 28th 2014.
This historic European event brings to life the ‘Kings’ of polo today by uniquely attracting low, medium and high goal polo players and patrons from around the globe. The event culminates with the Copa de Ora High Goal polo event from August 16th – 29th. Royal Salute Polo Ambassador and Scotsman Malcolm Borwick will captain the Royal Salute polo team while world renowned player and Royal Salute Polo Ambassador Facundo Pieres will compete with Ellerston. Demonstrating unparalleled skill and sportsmanship, these world-class players will battle it out in what is anticipated to be the most exciting final of the polo season.
