And so it begins… the culmination of the season, the final tournament in The Gauntlet of Polo and the most prestigious title of the US high goal season, The US Open Polo Championship. Won last year by La Dolfina, this year 12 teams join the fray at the National Polo Center to play for the trophy that every polo player wants to take home.
The tournament started with a double header. No team can afford a loss at this stage with the early matches so important to avoid elimination and to be in with a chance of reaching the quarter finals.
