The undefeated El Overo Z7 UAE beat La Dolfina by 10 to 7, on Saturday 7/12 on field 2 in Palermo and thus achieved its fourth title – second consecutive – in the VIII Argentine Women’s Polo Open presented by Caviahue, which was starred by four formations of between 27 and 36 goals of FEM valorization, made up of the best players from Argentina, the United States, France and England.
After two hard-fought first chukkers, El Overo began to take advantage from the third, thanks to the good play of Cande Fdz. Araujo –the figure– and Hazel Jackson –scorer–. Although in the fifth period La Dolfina had a good passage, solved by the efficiency of Lía Salvo in the execution of fouls and the grit shown by Mía Cambiaso, the triumph of the team in which three foreign polo players play, which took the title with great justice, was never in danger.
