Village Properties Cup Recap
The first weekend of the Village Properties’ Cup featured two exciting matches on Sunday afternoon. Antelope/Edelweiss and Long Beach/Cotterel had an exciting matchup for 1:00 PM game. After a tough loss in double overtime to Grants Farm on Friday, Antelope/Edelweiss proved to be the stronger team on Sunday and maintained a solid lead throughout the game winning 13-9. Santi Trotz of Antelope/Edelweiss and Ruben Coscia of Long Beach Cotterel both put up 5 goals a piece during the game.
The second match of the day began with Wildcat pulling ahead with an 8-1 lead after two chukkers of play. Grants Farm began their comeback in the 3rd chukker and brought the game to within two goals at the end of the 5th. Spectators got to see quite a show as Santi Wulff led Grants Farm to victory in the last minute of the game 13-12. Santi Wulff had 10 goals in the match.
This Friday, Antelope/Edelweiss will play Wildcat with the winner advancing to the final against Grants Farm.
