Young Argentine Open Final

On field 1 in Palermo, in what was their first match since the end of last February, the grand final of the 41st version of the Young Argentine  Open was played on Monday 30/9, in which four teams of between 23 and 26 goals of handicapp participated, integrated with players up to 21 years old.

In the match, Ellerstina NZPS beat La Irenita by 10 to 7 to win the title.

Lorenzo Chavanne won the title for the second time, after having won it in 2023 with the La Natividad team, while his three teammates inscribe their name for the first time among the winners of this contest.

 

At the final ceremony, Lorenzo Chavanne was also the one who took the Machi Trotz award for having been distinguished as the best player of the final.

 

 

The finalist teams and progression:

 

Ellerstina NZPS: Paco de Narváez 6 (2 goals, one penalty), Beltrán Laulhé 6, Lorenzo Chavanne 6 (3) and Rufino Laulhé 5 (5, two penalties). Total: 23.

The Little Anger: Juan Cruz Gallegos 4, Tomás Delfino 5 (1), Matías Mac Donough (h) 7 (2 penalties) and Felipe Dabas 7 (4, three penalties). Total: 23.

 

Ellerstina NZPS: 1-0, 3-2, 6-2, 8-4, 8-5 and 10-7.
