Following on from a day of Medium Goal, Friday was filled with Low and High Goal Silver Cup games, with Sardonola beating Valdeparras-Marques de Torneros, so both teams now have one win and one loss to their name, whilst Huntsman came face to face with Silex.  Despite Richard Fagan and his team scoring 8 goals (the same number as in their last league game which gave them a win) Aristide Faggionato, Dillon Bacon, Felipe Gomez and Ivan Maldonado retained the same winning form as they did in the final of the Bronze Cup against Silex, beating them 14-8 and securing their second Silver Cup league game win.  In the subsequent game at the final bell, the scoreboard read Shakib Polo 9 v 7 Bayswater, giving the winners, Shakib Polo one win and one loss and Bayswater their second loss.  Low Goal matches will continue on Monday 11th.

Later in the day the infamous 10 goal Argentine with the Midas touch who always flies the flag for his Country, Robert Jornayvaz, Santiago Laborde and Santiago Torres (Valiente) took to the pitch against Dos Lunas-Banco Espirito Santo, who, like Valiente, had two wins to their tally, having beaten King Power and Los Monjitas.  Both teams were keen to be the first to secure a third Silver Cup league match win, but as always someone had to lose and this time it was Luis Domecq, Pascual Sainz de Vicuna and Martin Iturraspe who lost to Valiente, albeit by the closest margin yet in any of Valiente’s Silver Cup matches, as Valiente were able to put double figures (10) on the board to Dos Lunas-Banco Espirito Santo’s 9.  Simultaneously on another field, Top Srivaddhannaprabha’s King Power (Alejandro Muzzio, Marcos Di Paola and Martin Espain) went 4 goals ahead of Charlie Hanbury’s ‘artistic’ team 15 – 11.  Meaning Halcyon Gallery have now had three losses and King Power one loss and two wins.

Prior to these matches at 17.30 the Novillo Astrada brothers Eduardo and Alejandro, Tomas Fernandez-Llorente and Camilo Bautista (Las Monjitas) faced Lucas James, Jaime Garcia Huidobro, Malcolm Borwick and Corine Ricard (Murus Sanctus) all of whom needed a win.  It was not however to be Murus Sanctus game as like Halcyon Gallery they put a third loss on the board (14-7) whilst Las Monjitas now have two wins to one loss.

Today the Pieres brothers, James Packer and Thomas Brodie (Ellerston) and the Stirling brothers, Inigo Zobel and Diego Cavanagh (Ayala) are looking to join Valiente as they too play for their third league game win.
