Silver Cup Medium Goal finals were the games being played on the pitches at Santa Maria Polo Club in Sotogrande this Thursday. In the opening subsidiary final match on LP1 at 17:00 Leones played against Mahra-Esperanza. Riding away the winners of this game were Rashid Al Habtoor, Patricio Neves, Guillermo Cuitino and Kevin Korst, team Mahra-Esperanza beating Bronze Cup winners Leones (Petus Fernandini, Ricky Trujillo, Guillermo Li and Ignacio Domecq) 13-7.
In the later final, Equus (Peter Silling, Juan Britos and English players James Beim and Hugo Lewis) were up against Dimitri Vozianov’s Seven Sevens (Tomas Garbarini, Nicolas Espain and Nikita Vozianov). The scores were close, but Seven Sevens could not prevent Equus from lifting up the Medium Goal Silver Cup with a scoreboard reading 10-9.
On Friday in the Silver Cup High Goal subsidiary final King Power are against Las Monjitas, followed by another Sotogrande final featuring Adolfo Cambiaso as Valiente play Dos Lunas-Banco Espirito Santo.
