Dubai and Lechuza Caracas are in the final for Bulgari Gold Cup in High Goal in the 44th Land Rover International Polo Tournament, after winning today their respective matches in the semifinals.
Dubai Polo Team beat Murus Sanctus by 9-7 and Lechuza Caracas defeated Ayala Polo Team by 11-9. They will face next Saturday, August 29, for the most important thophy of the season at Santa María Polo Club.
A large crowd came to Los Pinos, headquarters of Santa María Polo Club, to follow the decisive matches of the Bulgari Gold Cup. Two excellent matches were played simultaneously on Field II and Field IV, with excellent polo and lots of excitement.
Dubai Polo and Lechuza Caracas, finalists in the INDI Silver Cup, will also be the stars in the Bulgari Gold Cup, a match to be played on Saturday at 18:00h on Los Pinos IV.
The semifinals for the Subsidiary Gold Cup were also disputed today, with the classification of Dos Lunas A&G Banca Privada and HB Polo to the final.
Dos Lunas A&G Banca Privada beat La Indiana by 15-13, and HB Polo defeated RH Polo Team by 8-7. Both teams will play the subsidiary final on Saturday at 16:30h on Los Pinos.
MEDIUM AND LOW GOAL FINALS
Next Friday, August 28 at 18:00h, Golden Goose Deluxe Brand and St. Mesme will play the final match for the Gold Cup in Medium Goal.
The match will be played on Field III and, before the final in this level, Opel Royal Salute and Yaguará will play the subsidiary final.
The Valecuatro Gold Cup in Low Goal will also be held next Friday, facing La Clarita (winner of the Bronze and Silver cup) and Valdeparras Lynx.
The decisive match will be played at 18:00h on Los Pinos Field II. Prior to this meeting, Mahra Polo and El Cañal will play the Subsidiary Final on the same field at 16:30h.
