OPEL-ROYAL SALUTE AND GOLDEN GOOSE WIN TODAY’S MATCHES IN MEDIUM GOAL
Opel-Royal Salute and Golden Goose Deluxe Brand won their respective matches today for the Silver Cup in Medium Goal during the 44th Land Rover International Polo Tournament organized by Santa María Polo Club.
Opel-Royal Salute defeated Yaguará by 9-7 while Golden Goose beated Bayswater-Sapphire by 15-10. There were both tough matches resolved in the last seven minutes of game.
There will be another match tomorrow, facing Equus Polo vs Kazak, on Los Pinos fields at 17:30h.
HIGH GOAL
Tomorrow, on Los Pinos Field III at 19:00h, the first quarter-final match will be played for the INDI Silver Cup in Medium Goal, facing Ayala and Lechuza Caracas.
The winner will be classified to semifinals, where Dubai awaits after winning in Zone A and achieving a direct classification.
LOW GOAL
This morning, on Puente de Hierro fields, there was a complete day of matches for the Valecuatro Silver Cup in Low Goal.
Clarita, champion of the Bronze Cup, defeated Santa Quiteria by 11-6, while GSA beated El Cañal by 10-5.
The match closing the day, with a tied game, was Mahra Polo vs Opel-John Smith, with a result of 8.5-8.
