Valiente won against La Fe by a score of 12-7 in the U.S. Open Polo Championship at National Polo Center on Tuesday 2nd April.
The Teams:
Valiente came out as strong as ever on Tuesday, taking no prisoners as they played their consistent team plays throughout, forcing errors from La Fe and making the most of every opportunity with the cool heads that showcase the benefits of being run by the master himself.
The magic field plays of Elizalde, which have seen La Fe dominate against weaker opponents and even in this game created plenty of opportunities at goal which the La Fe side were unable to capitalise on, were no match for the agile mid field tactics of Paco and Peke, two players who have really found their rhythm this season as teammates. Valiente ran out the easy winners having led throughout both on the scoreboard and in possession.
