Second Match
At the Alfredo Lalor Headquarters that the AAP owns in Pilar, the fifth date (third of Zone A) of the 86th Tortugas Country Club Galicia Open presented by Visa was closed on Monday 10/19, in which the Emilio de Anchorena Cup is at stake.
On court 6, one of the teams coming from the qualifying round, La Zeta Kazak, achieved their first and very important victory in the 2026 Triple Crown, after beating La Ensenada GreenArmor 14 to 11, which in this way was left almost without chance of reaching the final of the tournament, after accumulating two defeats in three appearances.
With eight goals from Lorenzo Chavanne, the game’s top scorer and currently the tournament’s leading scorer (22), La Zeta controlled the game from the start, leaving their opponent with no chance. Although their rivals stayed close on the scoreboard, they were never able to get close enough to tie the game. Thus, the team led by Nico Pieres and “Sapo” Caset, in addition to their first victory, earned important points for the 2026 Ranking.
