Speaking on the new agreement, Neil Hobday, Guards Polo Club’s Chief Executive said: “Land Rover is rightly proud of its heritage and its continual pursuit of excellence on and off road. Such hallmarks make this automotive brand the ideal partner for Guards Polo Club, a sporting club which has continually set the standards for polo over the past six decades.

“Of course, maintaining our status as number one club in Europe is only possible thanks to strong support from our impressive cohort of sponsors and corporate partners. Therefore we are delighted to welcome Land Rover into this stable of valued partners as our Official Vehicle and look forward to working with them on our many events in this, our Diamond Jubilee Year.”

Jeremy Hicks, Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover UK said, “The Guards Polo Club partnership is an exciting and important addition to Land Rover’s growing equestrian sponsorship portfolio. We are proud, long-term supporters of equestrian sport both here in the UK and around the world. With over 25 years’ heritage within the sport, we have built strong and long term partnerships with Burghley Horse Trials, the Royal Windsor Horse Show and the British Equestrian Federation. We look forward to working with Guards Polo Club over the coming years.”
