Al Amal Polo Day
Held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Falah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, chairman of Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club; on Friday, February 10th Al Amal Polo Day returns in its 7th Edition. In the match Ghantoot Polo Team will face the Royal Cavalry of the Sultanate of Oman for the second time; last was on 2014. Additionally there will be a picnic area and various of free family activities with kids fun zone free for all comers such as pony riding and face painting; a stage with live shows; roaming magicians and a lot more.
This charity polo games comes as an initiative under the umbrella of The Year of Giving 2017, the teams will play for the cause of raising awareness about the children with special needs and support of Al Ain Center of Care and Rehabilitation. A number of UAE polo stars will play in Ghantoot polo team. A lot of sponsors are contributing in the event; Abu Dhabi Sports Council the governing partner; YAS International Properties; Premier Motors Maserati the official car; JANNAH Hotels and Resorts the official hotel and Ahalia Hospital alongside with Al Roeya the daily of all Emirates.
The official event press conference will take place at the club on February 7th Tuesday.
The event program will be as follows:
2:00 PM – Gates open & fun zone kicks off with activities on stage
3:30 PM – Horse entertainment performance with music
4:00 PM – VIP Hospitality begins
4:50 PM – UAE National anthem & Polo team presentation
5:00 PM – Exhibition polo match
6:30 PM – Award ceremony – Lucky draw for all audience.
